It's about that time again.

I say that cause this happens once every year or two. I go through obsessions with movies/music like water, but somehow I just keep coming back to this one. I'm talking of course about the Fab Four. It just amazes me that a group that wasn't even famous 10 years before breaking up in 1970 and one of which died years before I was born still has such a huge impact on the world and is remembered today. I know if I had been born about 40 years earlier, I would have been one of those crazy girls frantically chasing their limo before a concert.

Every time I do this, I discover something different. This time, it's how under-appreciated George was as a lyricist. Most people forget that he wrote good songs too, it wasn't just Lennon and McCartney. So on that note, I leave you with a sample. RIP, Georgie Boy.

I look at you all, see the love there that's sleeping
While my guitar gently weeps
I look at the floor and I see it need sweeping
Still my guitar gently weeps

I don't know why nobody told you
How to unfold your love
I don't know how someone controlled you
They bought and sold you

I look at the world and I notice it's turning
While my guitar gently weeps
With every mistake we must surely be learning
Still my guitar gently weeps

I don't know how you were diverted
You were perverted, too
I don't know how you were inverted
No one alerted you

I look at you all see the love there that's sleeping
While my guitar gently weeps
I look at you all
Still my guitar gently weeps

I look from the wings at the play you are staging
While my guitar gently weeps
As I'm sitting here doing nothing but aging
Still my guitar gently weeps

"Klinger! Do you realize how many zoots had to be killed to make that one suit?"

I can't figure out how to post youtube stuff on xanga, but this is definitely worth watching, so I'm posting the link.

How to spend a sickday

I've been feeling kinda icky lately. So what did I do with myself while I was at home feeling blah? Watched the new Doctor Who series...ALL of it. In four days.

Holy fuckmonkeys, it's awesome! I highly recommend it to anyone who likes sci-fi, drama, or comedy. Or, hell for that matter, anyone who like guys who can rock the "geek chic" look .

Very random thought...

I was once in a car with some friends who were from out of state and we got lost on our way back to Kutztown from Reading and ended up in Womelsdorf (which is in the complete opposite direction). Womelsdorf should not be a town in Pennsylvania. It should be a town in a friggin' Harry Potter book. I mean, try saying this with a British accent: "We're going to Womelsdorf, Harry!" Seems oddly fitting, doesn't it?

Is it weird that I looked up a bunch of spoilers on wikipedia and now want to read the series just because of Snape?
